Return
There are many types of warehouse shelves. Some types require layer boards, such as heavy-duty pallet racks with iron plates, while others do not. For example, shelf racks, attic-style racks, attic platform racks - all these types require layer boards to be used. Unlike these, pallet racks, double-depth racks, drive-in racks, gravity racks, etc., do not require layer boards to store goods directly.

The thickness of the iron plate heavy-duty racks is customized according to the load-bearing requirements of the goods. To increase the service life, the thickness can be increased. Thus, there is no need to worry about estimating inaccurately and storing overweight goods on the racks. Professional warehouse rack manufacturers will use software for mechanical analysis to assess whether the load-bearing meets the usage requirements.

There are also several types of layer boards. Besides iron layer boards, there are wooden layer boards and galvanized plates, etc. For situations with higher load requirements, iron layer boards are the first choice. For example, if the load is over 500kg, the warehouse rack manufacturer recommends using iron layer boards. Whether it is shelf racks, attic-style racks, attic platform racks, or other heavy-duty racks that require layer boards.
